The internet is buzzing with different takes on Olivia Culpo's wedding gown choice but I for one, absolutely LOVE it! She looked stunning - a breath of fresh air, making us rethink our wedding gowns and what a wedding day truly means. She brings us back to the romance, innocence and love of how a wedding day should feel.
When speaking with @vogue about her @dolcegabbana wedding gown choice, Olivia said “I don’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape or form. I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not over powering me. There’s so much beauty in simplicity.”
She paired her stunning gown with a 16 foot lace veil.
@oliviaculpo holds the following belief about marriage “It’s a covenant. It’s the beginning of the rest of your life-and it’s the union and bond of two people forever…..when I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments that he thinks that I’m most beautiful, it’s absolutely in something like this: timeless, covered and elegant.” she adds.
Olivia married San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in Watch Hill, Rhode Island in 2024.
I for one adore her gown choice. It’s stunning, modest and elegant, exuding Princess vibes and wholesome beauty.
It takes us back to the modesty of old but in a new fresh approach.
The crepe crew high neck and fitted bodice with her billowing ballgown looked stunning on her. She worked with Dolce & Gabbana for months to bring her dream gown into reality. She said the design process was a rather simple one.
“This was the first, last and only wedding dress I tried on”. She stated to Vogue.
Olivia opted for fresh faced makeup that looked flawless and we’re seeing a lot of that going into 2025. Brides are requesting more of a glowy, dewy, smooth skin look opposed to makeup to cover up their skin. My makeup artists are all about the skin! They suggest products, masks and unique skincare regiments to ensure flawless skin on your wedding day. They then work their magic with brushes and makeup to create the perfect wedding day makeup.
Brows and lashes are important as well. Fuller, shaped brows shape your features and lashes widen your eyes.
A soft lip color with a touch of shimmer adds a touch a of glamour while peach, blush and soft makeup hues give an elevated natural makeup look.

For her hairstyle, Olivia opted for a smooth, polished style.
If I were to recreate her hairstyle I’d do the following:
Using a few drops of my favorite Kerastase hair oil and a few squeezes of KENRA styling cream, I’d put that in her hair after it’s freshly washed and conditioned. Massaging it in from the middle of her hair down to her ends.
I’d then add Color WOW raise the root to her roots to give lift and volume. (Even though it looks like she doesn’t have volume at her root, if you skip this step, your hair will lie very flat and not give that freshly washed, polished vibe.) I’d part her down the center before blow drying.
I’d blow dry her hair with a round boar bristle brush to help Eliminate static, reduce frizz and give her a polished freshly blown out look.
I’d then pass a flat iron over hair hair gently curving it to smooth the hair but also give it body and movement.
Adding my Kerastase oil to her hair at the end will pat down any fly away pieces and give a shiny polished look.
I’d spray everything with KENRA 25 spray to keep it in place.
When all is said and done I believe her wedding gown is iconic and will set the stage for our brides in 2025 and beyond. Bringing us back to purity, modesty, elegance and timelessness.
